FITRITE, INC. started in 1956 as manufacturer and distributor of denture supplies-hence the name “Fitrite”. In 1974, seeing a growing demand in the market for native food products, the company shifted to food manufacturing, catering mostly to restaurants and institutions. The business was such a success that, a few years later, in 1982, Fitrite started exporting its Philippine food products to the United States and Canada. With the growing number of overseas Filipino workers, the company saw an opportunity to expand in other markets in the ensuing years. Fitrite products are now proudly sold in the United States, Canada, Middle East, Europe, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and other Asian countries.

Far from resting on its laurels, Fitrite aims to continually raise its standard for quality and work excellence. Fitrite is an accredited exporter of Fish Products in Europe and has HACCP certification and Good Manufacturing accreditation from the Department of Trade and Industry. In recent years, Fitrite has ventured into processing of fruit drinks, nectars and jellies. These products are produced using food-processing machines that are world class and are packed in flexible packages with straw attached.
